Founded in 1967, BSH was established as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich). BSH has been under the sole ownership of Bosch Group since January 2015.
Over the past 50 years, BSH has grown from a German exporter into the world's second-largest home appliance manufacturer, with more than 61,800 employees worldwide. BSH has continuously expanded its global network of employees over the last few years and now has employees on all five continents.
In 2017, BSH increased its revenue to around 13.8 billion euros. BSH produces the entire range of modern home appliances at 42 factories worldwide. The product portfolio now includes cookers, ovens and extractor hoods, dishwashers, washers and dryers, fridges and freezers to small appliances such as vacuum cleaners, coffee machines and food processors.
With Home Connect, BSH offers the world’s first cross-brand smart home hub which works with and supports the rapidly growing ecosystem of connected home appliances and customer-centric services for a special future experience in the kitchen.
In 2017, the independent Top Employers Institute awarded BSH the International "Top Employer Europe" title for the fourth time in a row. We were also certified as a “Top Employer Asia Pacific” and a “Top Employer USA”.
